My "H20" Band...

      "Band is addictive", "band will just destroy your grades and studies", "band is a nonsense hobby" and "band will just make you deaf", everyone in my family always say these lines, but what they don't know is...
"band is my life" ..

      When I was in high school, I got into music. Sometimes, I play guitar and my favorite instrument, piano, but though i feel alone. I just feel to have companions while playing instruments that's why I thought of making a band.
     This is where I met our lead guitarist and the leader of the band, Michael Cauilan. Just like me, he is into classical musics like Beethoven, Mozart, Joe Satriani, etc.As we talk about making the band in our chemistry subject, we decided to name in "H20".
      Our first batch of musicians is an epic failure as it is composed of 4 guitarists. We decided to disband again and make friends to find musicians and this time, I met Michael Cabading, our Rhythm guitarist. He is very very good in terms of guitar, and I, myself, idolizes him. He likes alternative rock and Beatles. I also met my bestfriend Archibald Lorenzo (The base guitarist) who didn't last because of his studies so we find our basist and we met our last member, Kenrick Finez, who wants to be a lead guitarist than basist. In our last rehearsal, I have no choice but to be a drummer even though i don't have any knowledge about it.

      Me, Michael, Kenrick and Michael is the original members of H20. Our main problem is just, what genre are we going to play if we have different tastes in music?... so we decided it to be "Rock". We dreamed to be professionals like our favorite band Dream Theatre.

      Our high school life became lively and colorful as the our band became popular and always have a project. Also, many issues had came to us, but still we can endure it.
    
      When we are in college, we had different universities like UST, UE, LYCEUM time of practices and misunderstanding are became the problems of the band, and because of that, some of the members decided to be disbanded and make their own band too (just like the stories of Eraserheads).

      As of now, our lead guitarist is having their step in muziklaban, our rhythm is serious in his studies, our bassist is now a game developer and I is still reminisce all the memories of the band and now a solo pianist.

      Also we are planning to have a reunion in our Alma matter. Even though they are not my last band, still, i learn different things from them.
